February Monthly Meal Plan

Do you struggle with meal planning? I know I do! I think I may have finally found a system that works. Planning out meals for an entire month has really helped me to stay on top of things and not be scrambling at the last minute. Today, I am going to share with you my February Monthly Meal Plan, and I hope you gain some inspiration. 

We don’t have a decent local grocery store that I enjoy shopping at. I have been going out of town every week or two, but with the baby in tow that has been a bit much. Plus, I am not a fan of getting out during the winter months. So the plan is to do a monthly meal plan and only go out of town once a month grocery shopping. During the off weeks, we will do the basics at our local Aldi. 

In my planner on my notes page I create a little grid for the month. The first thing I do is plug in any events where I know I will not need to cook dinner that night. Then I add in the meals. At the end of each week, I will write the meals into the following weekly calendar. This way I can make any adjustments if needed and plan my weekly shopping list accordingly.  

All of our meals are gluten free and dairy free (with some goat or sheep products). We try to eat Paleo/Whole 30ish as possible. But life happens, and we try not to stress it. 


Week One

Monday: Chicken Pot Pie Baked Potatoes

Tuesday: Burgers

Wednesday: Tortilla Soup

Thursday: Sausage Casserole

Friday: Gluten Free Pizza with Goat Cheese (we buy frozen GF crusts from Fresh Thyme and add our own toppings)

Saturday: Lamb Roast

Sunday: Leftover Lamb Roast


Week Two

Monday: Whole 30 Mushroom Chicken

Tuesday: Taco Salads

Wednesday: Chili

Thursday: Out of town

Friday: Out of town

Saturday: Out of town

Sunday: Leftover Chili


Week Three

Monday: Salsa Chicken over rice – no recipe, just place chicken breasts in crockpot and dump a jar of salsa over top. We like to use Peach Salsa from Trader Joe’s. 

Tuesday: Steak 

Wednesday: Zuppa Toscana Soup

Thursday: Shrimp Salad

Friday: GF Pizza with goat cheese

Saturday: Crockpot Honey Ham (Cover bottom of crockpot with brown sugar, place ham on top, drizzle 1/2 cup honey over ham, pour over one can of pineapple, sprinkle a bit more brown sugar on top of ham. Cook on low for several hours until ham is heated through.)

Sunday: Leftover Ham


Week Four

Monday: Chicken Salad

Tuesday: Chipotle Style Taco Bowls with Cilantro Lime Rice and Whole 30 Carnitas

Wednesday: Ham Soup (made with ham bone & leftover ham from previous week)

Thursday: Kielbasa Sausage and veggies

Friday: Sloppy Joes

Saturday: Some type of roast depending what is on sale

Sunday: Leftover roast
