Women Wielding the Word – Guest Post

“A Glimpse into My Personal Quiet Time with God”

Today, I have the opportunity to be a guest on Jana Carlson’s Blog, Wield the Word.  I appreciate Jana’s passion to encourage women to get into their Bibles and study God’s Word for themselves. And I am grateful for her invitation to be part of this series – Women Wielding the Word.

I invite you to join me over on Wield the Word as a share a little peek into my personal walk with God!

Check out the following post to see some of the tools I use during my personal quiet time:

My current Bible I am using for my personal devotions:

Disclaimer: I am grateful to be part of this series. My involvement, however, does not constitute as a blanket endorsement of Wield the Word or of the other guest bloggers. As always, we must compare everything we read to truth of the Scriptures.

  1. “Reading God’s Word is vital to our Christian walk, but it is not just about reading a book. It is about seeking an intimate and personal relationship with the Person who loved us enough to take our sins upon Himself and to die in our place.” I loved these lines.

Committing our lives is the most important aspect of a Christian walk.
