I created this Fruit of the Spirit printable to go along with yesterday’s post – What Type of Vessel are You?

As we seek to be filled up with the power of the Holy Spirit, it is important to fill our hearts and minds with God’s Word. Each passage is specifically selected to go along with the various Fruits of the Spirit.

I hope you will be willing to accept this challenge of memorizing God’s Word to better enable you to display these qualities in your life and make you an abundant fruit bearing Christian!

Love

Mark 12:30-31, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

Joy

Psalm 16:11, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Peace

Isaiah 26:3-4, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:”

Longsuffering

James 1:3-4, “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

Gentleness

Proverbs 31:26, “She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

Goodness

Psalm 107:9, “For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”
